Christmas is coming. I mean, it’s not like this is a surprise. The shops have been stocked with tinsel and fairy lights since March or something. But, it’s like REALLY coming now. In exactly one month.
Guys, you need to get your shit together. No more fiddle-arseing around. Christmas is on like Donkey Kong.
Panic attack in 3, 2, 1….
S’Ok! Relax, sweet cheeks. I’m here to help. Because I’m delightful.
I have a little pressie for you.
When I’m not harassing people on the internet with my sage parenting wisdom, I’m making art and decor for kids rooms at Rocket and Floss. It’s the Martha Stewart side to my split personality. If Martha Stewart had a foul mouth, a bitch face and a seriously low tolerance for stupid people. Actually, having seen the Martha Stewart show a few times, I get the impression she’s exactly like that….
So, just like Big Maz, I like to do arty stuff, and without sounding like an awful suck, I truly love seeing my stuff on the walls of kids rooms all over the world.
I really quite like the getting paid part, but in the spirit of Christmas, and due to my aforementioned delightfulness, I wanted to make something for YOU. Free Christmas gift tags!! Because you know Big Maz would HATE to see you just scrawl your sister’s name on the wrapping paper with a Sharpie. That’s not about to make it to Pinterest now, is it?
I think a lovely gift tag can really make up for some cheap arse paper. There’s a reason Maria loved brown paper packages tied up with string. It can look amazing.
All of The Thud’s email subscribers will be getting these tags for FREE. Zero dollars for you!
If you’re not a subscriber, just sign up here and you’ll be able to grab them too. Merry Christmas everyone!!
I’ve created a few different versions depending on your tastes.
The pencil sketch woodland animals are my faves. Because they’re heaps better than I expected (I surprise myself sometimes).
Then there’s some classic watercolours for the more traditional members of your family.
I created some tags for your little ones to colour in for you. Free tags AND a holiday activity for the kids? YOU’RE SO WELCOME.
And, I felt it was necessary to have some very Thud themed tags. Not to be used on your Nan’s present. Unless your Nan is really fucking awesome.
Just download, print, cut out and you’re done! If you want to be a bit fancy, you can glue them on to some card to make it feel a bit exxy.
Just want to be clear – I’m not actually sending you anything. You’re downloading my designs and printing them up yourself. So, I’m sorry if, like my sister, you think this is a “SHIT PRESENT” because you don’t have a printer. Cry me a river. You’re welcome.
Enjoy! Love you!

Oh redic lady! Some people get all the freaking creative ability don’t they!
😉
MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS!! Love it. Might need to use that one before the kids learn to read. Lol
Omg I know who is getting the Thud themed tags this year. Awesome
It’s like the tags that say it all! Love them! Look at you all arty!
I also love your Christmas tree…even if it didn’t last long. It also looks a lot safer…my son literally pulled the tree DOWN this morning…and smashed the “once a year family decoration” we buy for the tree…not just one but TWO.
What did you use to make your tree?
Oh bugger! I’m dreading putting up our tree because I know he’ll want to climb it…. I used a 5 metre felt ball garland (which I sell in my store). It was actually a customer who told me what she was planning to do and I had to try it out for myself. So cool!
